In this tutorial you'll go from a raw research paper to an editable figure set and a slide deck β the exact workflow a researcher uses before a lab meeting or conference talk.
Step 1: Prepare Your Input
Paper2Any accepts three kinds of input, so you can start from whatever you have on hand:
- A paper β paste the text or point the tool at the document content.
- Plain text β a section, abstract, or notes you want visualized.
- A topic β just a subject line; the tool expands it into structured content.
Step 2: Generate the Figure
Feed the input and request a research figure. The LLM-backed pipeline parses the content, identifies the entities and relationships, and lays them out as a diagram. The result is editable β move nodes, change labels, and adjust colors until it matches your paper's conventions.
Step 3: Build the Route Diagram
For architecture-heavy papers, request a technical route diagram. This renders the flow β data paths, module boundaries, training vs. inference stages β as a clean flowchart. It is the fastest way to communicate "how does this system actually work?" to collaborators.
Step 4: Export Slides
Finally, generate presentation slides from the same content. Each major section becomes a slide with the figure embedded, ready for export. You can reorder slides, tweak the narrative, and drop the deck straight into your talk.
Pro tip: generate the figure first, then build slides from it. The slide deck inherits the visual consistency of your figure, so the whole presentation looks like one coherent story instead of a patchwork.
